Dr. Susan Lomond received her DVM in 1995 from the Atlantic Veterinary College of Prince Edward Island. She also holds a BSc. From Memorial University of Newfoundland and a BSc. in Agriculture from the University of Dalhousie. Originally from Newfoundland, she moved to B.C. just after graduating to work in a small animal hospital and in 2003 started Paws and Claws Animal Hospital.


Dr. Corrine Searle graduated and received her DVM in 2001 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Having grown up in B.C. she also earned her BSc. in Agriculture from the University of British Columbia prior to pursuing veterinary medicine. Dr. Searle joined our team at Paws and Claws in 2009.


Dr. Sharon Moloney graduated with her DVM from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She received her BSc. in Agriculture from UBC in 1989. She has worked part-time here at Paws and Claws since 2014.


Jenn is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from the University College of the Cariboo in 1998. She has been working with Dr. Lomond since then and has been our senior technician since Paws and Claws started in 2003. Jen grew up in B.C.


Val graduated from the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Granville College in 1998. Originally from New Denver, she moved to the lower mainland over 20 years ago. She has worked with Dr. Lomond since 1998 and has been at Paws and Claws since 2005.


Gwen completed her Veterinary Reception certificate from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2002. Gwen grew up in the Fraser Valley and has been with Paws and Claws since 2009.


Sheila graduated from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario in 1984. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician. Originally from Ontario, she moved to B.C. after graduation. Sheila has been working at Paws and Claws since 2010.


Michelle is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Douglas College in 2013. She grew up in B.C. and has been a part of our Paws and Claws family since 2015.


Chantel graduated from West Coast College of Health Care’s Veterinary Assistant program in 2015. She joined our team in 2017. Chantel grew up in Murrayville.
